My husband and I wanted to move from Pennsylvania and enjoy the weather, lower taxes and the people of the Myrtle Beach area. Not being from this area we were very concerned about finding a professional, conscientious, honest and dependable builder. Not only did we find all of the above, but, Richard was very easy to work with, from the planning process through the completion and moving into our home. We felt that he was very knowledgeable and helped us make the best decisions. He takes a lot of pride in his work, surrounds himself with the best subcontractors he can find and wants you to think your home is the best one in the world. I, also, want to note that many of the subcontractors that we met with, told us that we couldn’t have found a better builder or person. Never once did we feel that we weren’t in good hands. Since we weren’t able to travel to Myrtle Beach frequently, he would send us pictures, videos and we spoke almost daily on the progress. We are very happy with our new home and have not only found the best builder, but have made a friend for life!

Ready to build our dream home, a home for my husband and I to live in forever, I was lost on how to find a builder. Long story short, I found Richard Johnson. A wonderful, helpful relationship began! We were able to explain what we wanted in our home. Design choice was mind boggling but Richard spend time and patience in helping us choose a plan we now love. Construction...he watched over it as if it was his home, making it detailed, functional and beautiful. I could say I am not sure I want that, or what about this? He listened, he facilitated and delivered what we wanted while reminding us of the budget. Now, in our home, I love it! No huge "I wish I had, or hadn't" moments; Richard put in details that I now see and it is, "wow, that is really nice," I didn't know he did that. Our visitors ask, don't you just want to stay here all day? Yes, I do, I love our new home and I thank Richard for his patience and guidance in the adventure and wonderful destination of our new home.

Not only is Richard one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, he is one contractor I would trust to build a home for me again. Although I lived 200 miles away at the time and could only get down every 2 weeks I always felt comfortable that he was doing the right thing by me.

The project was a complete gutting and rebuild of a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in Myrtle Beach, SC. Through a blend of Richard's expertise and professionalism combined with our design ideas, the results were over and above our expectations.
